About jollygoodfellow

Jollygoodfellow mixes with no respect old and new, city and nature, high tech and low tech in block printing, screen printing and other experiments. We like to work with the entire process from idea to the tangible work with screenprinting, making small labels and what it may be. The editions are therefore small.

Jollygoodfellow is a duo consisting of Esa and Lisa Tanttu, Esa is also working with graphic design with a focus on interactive design (www.esa.se) and it happens that he puts on his pop-jeans and plays drums. Lisa has studied art pedagogy at Konstfack and is more interested in how images affect us than to draw beautyfully, feel a certain delight in waste material like toilet rolls and styrofoam.

Our goal is to save the planet and, therefore, we insist on using organic cotton, second hand garments and other fair materials. In our work with the prints, we have a desire for the timeless (they should in all cases live longer than the latest mobile phone model).

Om jollygoodfellow

Jollygoodfellow blandar respektlöst gammalt och nytt, stad och natur, hightech och lowtech i blocktryck, screentryck och andra experiment. Vi gillar att jobba med hela processen från ide till det handgripliga arbetet med screentrycket, små etiketter och allt vad det må vara. Upplagorna är därför också små.

Jollygoodfellow är en duo som består av Esa och Lisa Tanttu, Esa jobbar också med grafisk form med fokus på interaktiv design (www.esa.se ) och det händer att han tar på sig pop-jeansen och spelar trummor. Lisa har studerat bildpedagogik på Konstfack och är mer intresserad av hur bilder påverkar oss än att rita fint, känner viss förtjusning inför skräpmaterial som toarullar och frigolit.

Vårt mål är att rädda planeten och därför trycker vi på ekologisk bomull, secondhandplagg och andra schysta material. I arbetet med trycken har vi en strävan mot det tidlösa, för att plagget ska bli din jollygoodfellow under en lång tid.
