PAX is the Latin word for peace, something to aim for in many ways.
This screenprint is based on photos of the meditation place at Backåkra, in memory of Dag Hammarskjöld, a place we visit every summer.

about the Stinging Nettle
Urtica dioica
Stinging nettle as fiber, nutrition, taste and visual image.
In the research, nettle appears as a substitute for cotton (before nylon took over), dream catcher, medicinal plant, emergency food for both people and livestock. The experimentation moves between textiles, paper and graphic prints. But also the nettle as a taste and of course the first impression: the sting. The plant that can be seen as a big problem or perhaps as a possible solution to several problems, ”Urtica dioica dissonantia”.

På Tanttulundens pizza
Allra vanligaste användningen av nässla hos oss är nässla på pizzan. Ena varianten är att vi mixar en nässelpesto av rapsolja, nässlor, ramslök eller vitlök, eventuellt solrosfrön och salt. Men oftast plockar vi bara topparna, svänger runt i olja och salt (som nässelchips) och lägger dem allra överst på pizzan.

Bise
On behalf of the restaurant Bise here in Malmö we create unique artwork for the restaurant’s menus. A playful work where we print with our Risograph and work with collage directly on the scanner glass : ) The idea is to have a lot of variation which our unreliable Risograph helps us with. Our art work is on the back and the current menu is printed on location. The menus are like small art pieces and if you like it you might take it with you.
Ocean
A project that revolves around the sea, Malmö’s closest neighbor that connects us with the whole world.
Lately we have spent a lot of time with the sea and we are interested in the sea as a resource for a sustainable future from various aspects. Seaweed is something that we pay a little extra attention to, such as food, fertilizer, oxygen producer and exciting material.
We made a film about the process – the collection of information, the experimentation, different perceptions of the sea and how the fanzine Ocean takes shape.
The project was first shown at Southern Sweden Design Days 2022 – a new international design festival in Malmö, Sweden.
We printed the fanzine with our Risograph, a whole new experience for us to collect and develop information, work with the graphic form and then print 36 pages with a machine that lives its on life ; )

We did it! A new calendar 10 years after our last wall calendar that we called urbnCal.
For this calendar we cut up old silkscreened test prints of bicycles and printed the calendar on the other side. Happy to have them together. In that way the project has very small environmental effect.

Southern Sweden Design Days 2021
Utfall
In printing, ”utfall” or bleed is the extra space that will be trimmed off at the end of the printing process. Occasionally, these paper strips (the bleed) have also been experimented with. There have also been experiments with layer upon layer on test prints. In this exhibition the primarily focus is on the discarded pieces which get a new chance in the limelight.
The exhibition was situated at Form/Design Center during the very first edition of Southern Sweden Design Days 2021.
L.T. Fisk
Some years ago we had the pleasure to have L. T. Fisk here for a small kitchen concert. We remember that it was the first nice summer day that year and not that many in the audience inside, but a very nice memory for us who were there : )
Now we have printed some t-shirts for the great artist, based on drawings by another great artist Linnéa Carlsson.

På påskafton 3/4 öppnar carport pizzerian här på Borggatan 14 upp i lite större skala för första gången. Vi kommer baka 40 pizzor mellan kl 13 och 18. Kommer finnas luft mellan de olika sittplatserna här. Men med tanke på rådande pandemi och ugnens storlek vill vi att du förbokar så det inte ska bli för trångt här. Vi har inga pizzakartonger men kan säkert vika ihop nåt hjälpligt om du vill ta med ; ) Vatten och kombucha och handsprit har vi däremot : ) Går också bra att ta med egen dricka.
Det kommer finnas:
– en röd pizza toppad med bland annat nässlor
– en vit pizza toppad med svamp o annat gött
Exakt vad bestämmer vi just innan, men båda är vegetariska och den röda går att få med “veganost”. Det går så klart att välja bort det man inte vill ha (förutom gluten, alla pizzor är garanterat glutenstinna men en del säger att surdeg är skonsammare än annan deg om en bara är lite småkänslig).
Vi kör på svenskt ekomjöl och bakar på surdeg i 400 grader, inspirerat av Napoli men på vårt sätt.
Eftersom det är första gången kommer pizzorna vara tokbilliga, 40 pix (lovar att det är en engångsföreteelse) och inte nog med det hela summan går till The Hunger Project som stärker kvinnors möjlighet till försörjning (och möjlighet att bli mätta) i en annan del av världen.
Vi bakar ca 5 pizzor i halvtimmen.
